I dont understand why Hollywood insists on fuckin things up for the rest of the world. Never in a million years would I have picked that guy to play Goku....Also...Master Roshi seems to be shell-less....

That all depends what you compare it to. Compared with the original versions, Naruto etc. live action movies would indeed suck. Compared with the officially licensed (and mutilated) translations, it would probably be an improvement.

But I know for a fact there has already been a live action DB movie made.
It was fairly bad though....

So instead of Goku you have Monkey boy. Instead of Roshi you have some old pervert guy (what they called him escapes me.)

This movie encompassed alot from dragonball, (but i dont believe it involved piccolo. just that small evil guy that was trying to wish to rule the world. ), because you also had Puar(a parrot), Yamcha(looked like he came from a angsty boy band), and the shapeshifter(just a fat asian guy, the only shapeshifting he did was impersonating the "Bulma").

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who sat through the first movie. But I wouldn't bet too much on the second one being much better except in the effects department.
