Cop Loses His Job For Demanding Free Coffee

Quite right too, if *anyone* decides to give free coffee it's quite a nice perk but you should always go in with the expectation of paying.

I had a cop that actually broke into the store years ago....

I had locked up the doors with the electronic lock switch, put a sign on the door, "back in 10 minutes" and went in the cooler to stock up. I check the door every 10 mins to see if anyone is at the door or check the register to see if anyone needs gas.

Then I finished up the cooler, started carrying all the empty boxes out of the hallway and into the sales floor. As I got to the sales floor with the boxes pile high, relying on route memorization to avoid running into anything. Lo and behold a gun poked through the boxes and right into my face.

I threw my arms up as the boxes come tumbling down on the floor. "Who are you??" the cop demanded of me. "I work here. WTF are you doing?" I asked angrily.

"Oh, just checkin' to make sure you're not some robber trying to rip off the store." he said sheepishly as he put his gun away. Then he went and got his fountain drink and left.

I'm thinking, "How the frack did he get in??? The door's locked!" so, I checked the electronic lock on the door and it's broken. I then realized he picked the lock and broke it in the process.

So my boss comes in the A.M. and I told her what happened. She gets all pissed off and said, "Again???", so that tells me that wasn't the first time this happened. I find out he's done this 2 other times. I asked why he broke the lock 3 times already? She said it was because he wanted his free fountain drink. The dinkhole wouldn't wait 10 mins for me to come to the door and wanted his drink, like NOW!!!

So she ordered me that from now on to charge ALL cops for their drinks as she has had enough of the B.S. from the cops. Also no more free car washes either. I asked why all of them when it was just one cop that did it. She said because she doesn't want to report it to the Chief as the last thing she wanted is get harassed by the cops if she reported one of their own. I assured her that wouldn't be the case because I knew the Chief personally. She didn't care.
