It looks like a turtle or a tortoise to me, minus its shell. But a turtle's backbone is actually part of the shell, and this thing doesn't seem to have the kind of wounds I think removing the shell would make.
Interesting. Does anyone know more about turtles? Is it possible I am correct? -

Still undetermined. But they thought it might be a canine that had been diseased and in the water a long time. Or a raccoon. Or somebody was creative with the latex. It will be interesting to see if this turns out to be real or a fake.It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care. -Office spaceComment

If it's real, it is something that hasn't been discovered yet but the lack of additional photos plus the cast that the person who found it is keeping it in their backyard is making me think it is fake (latex).Comment

T-hee.. Look, I have a weird creature post thing to offer. Hubby calls it the 'alien cow-baby'. I personally think its a cross between a minotaur and a cyclops. It was supposedly born from a cow. I say Zeus has been going at it again (cookies for those who know what I'm talking about!)
