I used to be a big fan of the comic, growing up. I don't follow it anymore, as I feel that the quality of the writing has gone downhill.

Jim Davis is a crafty sucker. I'm sure he weighed the situation carefully before deciding one way or the other. He's always careful to control the popularity level of Garfield to prevent people from getting burned out on him, or forgetting Garfield completely.Comment
