Not cool: Hollywood plans to rape Kurosawa's corpse by remaking Rashomon, which is one of the most compelling, beautiful, perfect films I have ever seen.
Hollywood screws up again. Seriously,are we even surprised anymore?
(I like The Magnificent Seven and a Fistful of Dollars, so Kurosawa remakes CAN be done decently...but Rashomon?? It's an entirely different kind of story and is very rooted in Japanese culture.)
