From what I can tell, this person really likes PIzza, Whataburger, Cigarettes, and ironing. And owning cleaning supplies?? WTF? They have them they look relatively new, so what happened? You'd have to hire someone to clean that. And good luck finding anyone in houston that'll do it for cheap. You'd have to pay me $50 an hour before I even enter the room. Plus a 50% gratituity!

I'll be damned. Looks like my former college roommate has an apartment in Houston now.

I always wondered what happened to that guy after he flunked out of school.

Look at all the cigarette butts everywhere! I'm surprised the apartment hasn't gone up in flames.

That apartment definitely is going to have to be completely stripped. Carpets, wallpaper, furnishings, appliances, everything.

oh and you see my shoe there next to the poop [third pic from the bottom]? thats the only carpet spot in the entire apt. You walk on trash/clothes/garbage atleast 1/2 deep.

Uhm, no. There is no way anyone can live in that filth, eat that crap, chainsmoke that many cigs and be "super hot".

True I am not licensed or legally able to make a diagnosis . . .I am just really familiar with the signs.
Sadly there is not a way to force aide on people who live like this. Depending on the rental contract let alone . . ..missing rent. There may be grounds for evection.

P.S. this is not really that bad compared to some of the houses we have aquired over the years. (We had one they walked away from for 15 years had used adult undergarments, another that had been vacant for about 10 and the kitchen cabinets had not been cleaned out- can't tell how many types of bugs lived in the honey jar.)

Supposedly it's two cats (click the read comments link at the bottom and it takes you to a forum where the OP has added a few tidbits of info) and they can't find them. The OP think they might be dead in the apartment so they called the SPCA.

And there's supposedly a HELL of a lot of fleas.

I didn't bother reading past the first page, it was starting to make me queezy.

The mess was there before Hurricane Ike and the tenant has been MIA for weeks. Half the complex is still gone because of the hurricane too so they can't ask the neighbors about it.

And it's in North Houston! GAH!

There's an episode of How Clean Is Your House? with an artist who sold her paintings out of her home (people were coming over). She let her cat use the entire flat for a litter tray.

There was a cat (or two) in that place? Poor things... ETA: I saw elsewhere in that thread that the one cat is OK and living with someone much cleaner.

The reason I'm grossed out is, it's not that it's just a lot of junk. It's a lot of filth. Feces on the floor, used feminine supplies on the bathroom counter, unidentifiable brown slime all over the bathroom, cig butts and ancient drinks everywhere...it wouldn't surprise me if the people who documented this place and took the pictures shortly became sick.
