Since when has "boredom" become an acceptable excuse for murder or other violent crimes? Seems like so many news stories show some brats killing or beating someone because "they're bored". There is no written guarantee that you will never be bored in this world. Most people deal with boredom without hurting someone else. They read a book, rent a movie, call up some friends, take a walk in the park, try a new hobby, etc.
Don't you worry, you poor bored slob, I'm sure your fellow inmates will keep you well entertained. Or at least keep themselves entertained with you.
