  • Wally-world sighting from another forum

Saw this on DSLR and immediately thought of the Sightings forum here.

    Here's the teaser....

I was in Wally world waiting in line one day and was behind this nine year old girl who was picking up the Dove bars by the handful. She proceeded to hold each unopened candybar and break it into pieces, and then replaced the same (now broken) candybar back into the box.
I witnessed her doing this at least four or five times, and finally spoke. "Stop that," I said.
Precious little snowflake gave me the deer-in-the-headlights look and threw the remaining candybars on the floor (!!) then ran 6 feet over to her mother and hid behind her. Mom spoke to her, got an answer she didn't like and then geared up to glare at me.
Mom then proceeds to read me the riot act about me "harassing" her baby girl.

      Nice.

I wonder how often this happens to poor innocents who don't have that kind of friend with them at the time...

Hopefully there were store cameras, so that at the very worst, this would have been detainment and then proof and release, not an arrest, and certainly not a conviction.

I like the Jesus Hussain Christ on a waffle cone bit in the second post. I'd like to change it to Jesus (Hey-Zues) Christopher on a Waffle Cone.

          AWESOME.

I don't understand why people (esp those who are the first to respond) feel the need to quote the entire post. It is so annoying.

          Guess our mods are better.

Probably far, far too many. People judge far too quickly based on surface appearances, and there are a metric fuckton of people willing to take advantage of this, playing to people's knee-jerk reactions to get their way...

I could go further into detail, but that way likes Fratching, so I'll stop with what I've said.

Which is why I didn't reply here, but over on fratching instead.

Probably too often, and it makes people scared to say anything regarding bad behavior, it's a shame really, because it just reinforces the concept that these kids can get away with this destructive behavior.

That woman needs to be hit by a speeding bus.

I'm not kidding in the least. Had that poor man not had his law enforcement friend along with him, there's a good chance he'd be hauled off to jail on a child molestation charge, having God knows what done to him once the other inmates found out what he was in for.

Lesson learned. Never correct a child who's misbehaving and is not your child. In today's society, the best-case scenario for what happens next is you're told to mind your own business. Worst-case scenario is the parent of the child is accusing you of felonies.

Also, just because one can have children doesn't mean that one should.
Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Study hard. Be evil.
