A speeding driver crashed his AU$250,000 Ferrari into a power pole. The driver and passenger survived but needed hospital treatment. The car is a write off.

They're bloody lucky that (a) they didn't hit the pole slightly more to one side or the other (somebody would have copped it in the face) and (b) it wasn't a front-engined car (their legs and lower abdomens would have been crushed)

Sad end to a great car. Too bad Darwin didn't at least send a small bit through the driver's small bits.

Like the Mythbusters did with a boat, I'd like to see them do "How fast do you have to be going to bifurcate a car that far?"

Very hard to believe two people walked away from that crash. They are VERY lucky.
