Woman loses 400,000 dollars to Nigerian scam. Despite everyone, her family, cops, lawyers, doctors, telling her she won't get anything. She still sent money.

This woman is a nurse BTW.

    Dumb @$$...

If I were her husband there would be a divorce and one heck of a lawsuit in the very near future.

For more than two years, Spears sent tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Everyone she knew, including law enforcement officials, her family and bank officials, told her to stop, that it was all a scam. She persisted.
WHAT A DUMBASS!!!! I feel bad for her family since she ran them into debt, but how f*cking thickheaded can you get! Id like to see what these letters from the president look like..lol.

Theres just no other word to describe her but DUMB.

*also for the record.....ALL nurses arent as obviously challenged as she is...

If she's that stupid and gullible, she deserves to be taken for every penny she has.

Can you say "DUH!" boys and girls?

I wonder if this is the same nurse on the PFB thread that spends $1000 a week at Hel mart. I wonder who she'll cry to for gift cards in this case.
I feel crazy. Like I'm drunk and trapped in a water globe and someone won't stop shaking it.

There was some couple on the news here a while back that had fallen for something similar to this. Instead of pointing out how stupid they were, the story was about how some anonymous person repaid them the money.

I felt bad for them, they have two little kids, but come on....in a way, they kind of deserved it. Hopefully, they learned their lesson. I hope so for their kids sake.

She sent close to half a million dollars and it's going to take "three or four years" to get out of debt?!

Wow. I guess she can afford to lose it, then.

Alot of that money came from various accounts <savings, retirement, etc>, so that's not a debt.

She mortgaged the house and put a lein on the car. Those are the debts.

Oh yeh, and she's an idiot.

Give her her dues, folks. She's come out in public to warn others. She's admitted to being stupid over it. The publicity from this should warn many others who could fall into the trap.

Still, RTR, my mortgage isn't getting paid off in 3-4 years. And I don't even have a car payment to make as well. If she'd only needed to mortgage for a few grand she probably wouldn't have. The article makes it sound to me like she pretty much mortgaged to the hilt to provide the cash.

Seeing that she's a nurse and a complete idiot, I can NOW see why the American health care system is on the verge of collapse.
