    That is seriously f*cked up.
Sickens me that the Sheriff doesnt think he did anything wrong, mainly saying they should have paid for a better moving company. What an ass.

I hope the community gets together to help them out.

... well i actually agree with the sheriff, i mean yes i feel sorry for the lady but if she had infact gotten a proper moving company there wouldnt have been a problem.

With 12 people living in a motor home I cant imagine they had enough money to pay for better.
Someone like me couldn't even afford to pay $200 dollars that they paid. $200 might seem really cheap to some people but there are a lot of people that $200 is used to keep your heat on or for food to just be able to feed your family.

It not like they towed it somewhere to get it off the road. The home was completely destroyed. It should have been handled better. No one should ever have to watch their home be torn apart.

          I agree with the Sheriff.

It sounds as if some people think the home was simply destroyed because it was in the way.

In fact, several attempts to move it had failed. They had not been able to pull it from the mud. The Sheriff was attempting to move it with two tractors, and it rolled in the attempt. It was not a deliberate destruction.

Nobody *should* have to watch their home being destroyed, and it's a sad story for the owners of this one, but there's precious little else that could have been done.

I agree it could have been handled with more empathy, but I don't see what actual different outcomes were possible.

It was a failed rescue remember - not a destruction order.
