New update in the 3 year old "Adolf Hitler" saga

3 year old Adolf Hitler and his two sisters (Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler) have been removed from their parent's custody. The agency has not said WHY they removed the children from their parents custody but I really really really really REALLY hope it's not just because of their names.........

According to this version, they werent:

Still, anybody who gives their kids those names, there's gotta be some problems in that family...

It's more likely due to the indoctrination etc and probably that the parents aren't taking proper care of their children. By going to the media, they probably invited social services to take a better look at them and how they bring up their children, so it's partly due to the names thing, in a way.

Well, I don't know. If they just named their kids that but everything else in their household was normal -- you know, the kids were well fed and provided for -- I see no reason to take them.

As someone said in the other thread, just because the parents were idiots to name their kids that, doesn't mean they don't have the RIGHT to. It's a slippery slope when we start telling people what they can or cannot name their own children.

I never said anything about names, just saying that by kicking up a royal stink, they might have drawn attention to the way they were treating their kids. Maybe there was neglect or physical abuse going on; we don't know, and won't til someone reports why the kids were taken away.

Oh, I agree completely and totally. I was just responding to the "Is anyone surprised by this" comment because, actually, yes, I am. The kids seemed happy and well cared for, but like you said, there's probably stuff we don't know about.

Well when OUR kids get older they better not name their kids "Billy Ray" because that's my wife's dad's name and he is extremely despised in her family. If so then I guess they better have a social worker on standby in the delivery room to catch the baby when it plops out.

That appears to be the standard journalistic libel-avoidance technique and nothing more. Any specific information related to the parents' disabilities will be confidential and not publicly available unless disclosed by the individuals themselves, so if anything should turn up in the media I'd recommend a hearty helping of skepticism. Of course, the guy in that photo looks like 75% of the "Jerry Springer" guests, so it's entirely possible they could be spilling their own beans, so to speak, sometime soon, all the better to get their full 15 minutes.

I suspect their was something else going on. They were just dumb enough to make big deal deal about it to the news which prompted a investigation. If you name you child Adolf Hitler chances are you are not all their.
