I realize the settlement is because the stores were involved in price fixing, but this should make for a lot of suckiness over the next week for the people employed at these stores:

A class action suit settlement means that anyone can just walk into the stores and sign a form saying they bought the products during that time period and get free stuff.
You just know that someone is only going to hear about it the day after and come in wanting their free stuff, or someone will only skim the article, or go by word of mouth, and feel entitled to all products offered because they bought all the products listed, despite the one item per person limit.
