There is not a politician alive you can trust as far as you can throw them.

Yes, our new president is going to try to keep a lawsuit against the government from proceeding, in spite of the facts that those in question (both the telecom companies, and the FBI) have broken the law.

This isn't intended to turn into a debate, and I'd rather not have it sent to fratching, so please keep things civil.

(Really, as I'm running for mayor in my town.... assuming everything's still working out and all [paperwork turned in, but dates still there, and they still review things]).

Politicians say anything you want to hear & promise all kinds of things to get elected. Then when they get into office then they do what's in their best interests & don't give a rat's ass about the people that got them elected. The only time they think about the people who voted for them is when they look down to see what it is they're stepping on.
