Former co-worker slain

Yeah.

I got an email from NTWS earlier this evening labeled "Obituary Notification" ... so already I was like "WTF?" before I even opened the email. Basically someone from my "shipmates" list was deceased.

After I saw the name... well I'm still in shock. I worked with him for ... almost 3 and a half years. I won't lie and say we got along (I've posted about him here) but... I won't speak ill of him right now either.

Anyway ... since this is "check it out" I'll post the link I found... Yeah, his death actually made the news.

And yes he did make the Numa Numa video from the enterprise.

I teased him about that after I saw it.

Yep, that was a funny video we made, and now it is infamous.

It's starting to hit me now. I didn't always get along with him but... fuck, I never wished him dead!

It's a damn shame that he left the world the way that he did and I don't wish that on anybody. All the same, he left behind something that has made a lot of people laugh and smile. That's a helluva monument in my book.

yeah, i talked to another co-worker about it via myspace
she said she wished she hadn't googled it to see what happened.

it's a bit weird really... i still think about "Mizzman" and both the good and bad of working with him... and although we hadn't spoken for a while ... it's weird realizing that ... yeah he's dead.
