Without getting into Fratching territory, let's just say that I've experienced something similar with vegetarians in my area multiple times, and it's one of the main reasons I keep a pack of beef jerky on my person whenever I'm out and about.

I feel this belongs in this forum because we health care workers are supposed to safeguard patients' private information, especially since the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 was passed here in the US.

If this man ever spent five seconds in an ER (or five seconds reading an ER blog), he'd know people who fake seizures for attention/sympathy/money do not put that much effort into their acting. Yes, because I'm sure an employee who probably has no insurance is going to spend several hundred dollars on an ambulance and several hundred or thousand more in the ER just to make a bigger tip.
