So he mispoke. Wow, how hilarious. And he said .com instead of .gov once? BA HA HA HA, what a dumbass! No one could possibly make that mistake.

I don't think he's even holding a candle to ole' GW.
Excuse me, good sir paladin, can you direct me to your EVIL district?

Here's an unusual comparison: Biden kinda reminds me of Dan Quayle. They both say a lot of stupid things but I don't get the impression that they're particularly stupid, just verbally clumsy. Neither of them are nearly as prolific at producing gaffes as Bush though, in terms of sheer numbers anyway. Every time Bush gave a speech Letterman got several new clips. Quayle may have the best, um, quality vs. quantity ratio though.

This is what gets me, everybody is getting on these politicians' cases over every verbal stumble they make, whether it's Dubya, Quayle, or Biden. They're human. Humans make mistakes! Everybody has a tongue trip or brain burp from time to time.

Hell, I'm sure George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, et al., made their share of bloopers, spoonerisms, mispronunciations and whatnot; we just don't know about it because they didn't have video cameras to capture and broadcast their every word.

Admittedly, it was amusing, but it's hardly earth-shattering. Cut the guy some slack. If verbal goofs are the worst misakes he makes, he's doing pretty darn good!

Joe Biden's verbal gaffes are gonna be the big punchlines for comedians and satirists, but nobody makes bigger verbal gaffes than Dubya.

Nah, Quayle's were the best. A lot of "Bushisms" are actually from him.

Dave Barry theorizes a lot more came from his father. George H. Bush apparently had some nice verbal gaffes of his own.

I was much too young to remember any of them though.
