Good grief - I wish I looked half as good as she does sans makeup.
Some people just don't like it. I personally cannot wear foundation as it makes me want to claw my face off. What if she'd had an allergy or something??The report button - not just for decoration

That's bullshit. What if she had very sensitive skin? I hate foundation to be honest and it is very very rare that I wear make up and the only time you'll see me dolled up is on a special occasion.I don't get paid enough to kiss your a**! -Groezig 5/31/08

I would never work at a place that required to wear make up.
I am however SHOCKED that it is not legally discrimination WTF is up with that!!!!
In my office job all I ever wore was mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss and that was because it was my personal choice. My boss never wore make up and she was the CEO's EA!!!I wasnt put on this earth to make you feel like a man ~ Mary Bertone

I want to know why the male employees were noy forced to wear make up as well. It seems to me that everyone should have to follow the same rules and if that means makeup for the women then it should for them men as well.
I personally hate makeup. I haven't worn any since oh abuot 1987 or so. I just can't stand all that crap on my face and I figure that if the make up is what attracts someone, then they aren't for me.

Man, that's an old story. There have been tales of this for years. Supreme Court ruled the company was within rights, since the woman in question couldn't prove makeup put undo burden on her.
Which it just silly. Take the average males toilette compared to the average womans +makeup and you'd have a win."For the love of all that is holy and 4 things that aren’t but feel pretty good anyway" ~ Gravekeeper

I've gradually worn less and less makeup because I have developed allergies to most eye shadows and eyeliners. It's either no makeup or completely bloodshot eyes.

I think that's the way to go. Make it a sexism issue. She is, after all, willing to do anything the men have to do to keep their jobs. Requiring women to do something further is sexist.Quoth Shpepper View PostI want to know why the male employees were noy forced to wear make up as well.

That is complete bullshit. Most food places try to discourage you from wearing makeup and having a cleaner look.
I hardly wear makeup myself. Once in a great while, I will wear eyeshadow and lipgloss and a bit of glitter. My senior pictures, all natural. No makeup except lipgloss. I think I look good in makeup, but it's such a pain in the butt and I do sweat, so it runs down."Kill the fat guy first?! That's racist!" - my friend Ironside at a Belegarth practice after being "killed" first.

I'd go all-out clown makeup.Quoth Anriana View PostI would have fun with this - bright red lips, 1/4 inch of lipliner and eyeliner, bright blue eyeshadow to my eyebrows, foundation in the wrong color, etc. I'm wearing make-up!

Nah, all-out clown makeup is an obvious refusal to meet their guidelines. With just tacky overly done makeup, you can simply claim you just don't wear it and don't know how to apply it right. I think I always look like a painted doll when I try, so I stay away from it. If someone forced me to wear it daily I'd look rediculous - but it's incompetence, not insolently refusing to do their bidding.
It's harder to find someone for incompetence than insolence.
