I thought this was funny. Roddy Piper says that people say wrestling is fake. Then you go somewhere and there will be a guy that's worked out in the gym for a year and has had a few drinks and wants to take you on. Then he's laid out. Six months later in court they go, "Well, he's a professional fighter!"

The only thing fake about "professional wrestling" is the story lines that you see on WWE. When you see any of those guys body slam someone or do one of those wrestling moves, it's real. They're trained to do that in such a way as not to injure themselves. BUT accidents do happen & they go out of their way to say.."don't try this at home".

you know what else is just as fake as wrestling? Kung fu movies, they are carefully planned and choreographed just like wrestling and I still wouldn't mess with Jackie Chan, Jet Li, or Robin Shou.

You wouldn't want to mess with John Cena, Triple H or any of those WWE wrestlers either. They get paid the BIG bucks to look the way they look.
Just once I'd love to see "John Q. Public" go up to one of those wrestlers & slap them & see what their reaction would be. It wouldn't be pretty...lol.
