Well, the old-timers like me at any rate.

Remember Archie? I do. Looks like he's growing up.

Now I haven't read them for way too many years. The crew was still in high-school when I read them. Apparently they've gone through college and are getting ready to graduate, and get married.

I heard this on CBC's radio program As It Happens the other night. much debating and fan comments going round

then on last nights program they revealed Archie is supposed to choose Betty (not sure if that is true or not). why I do not know. it is the old Ginger vs. Mary Anne debate all over again

Whoa, so what's the next storyline, Archie becomes a kept man?

Here's what struck my mind when I heard this...

Will this be an 'alternate future', to see how things for Archie pan out... then in two years Patrick Duffy walks out of the shower and everything is back to normal?

Will this be 'canon' to the series? Will we be seeing their kids as "Archie; The Next Generation"?

Or, is the end of the series on the horizon? Are there no more stories to tell, and they are retiring the whole lineup?
