This genius apparently decides to have a smoke in the cooler and hits the sprinkler in the process. And no the mop will not do a damn thing to make it look like it didn't happen, neither will closing the door.

Well it looks like they needed to clean anyway, maybe fixing that mess will be his last duty.

at that point a MOP is not going to work. First he has to turn off the sprinklers....

but for that kind of liquid clean up? He'd be better off using a dust pan to scoop the water into the mop pail instead.


though, i can honestly say i've seen worse. My first night working security on my last ship... someone set off the sprinkler the forward ammunition elevator shafts. The alarm went off and by the time my team got there (we were on the fan tail at the time) the elevator shaft was flooded with AFFF. (fire fighting foam). And some of it leaked into a berthing too.

Security didn't have to help clean up - our job was to keep the area clear of people not involved. But the clean up job consisted of shoveling the foam into one of the heads. (they also used mop buckets, trash cans... anything they could fill to get rid of it)

but yes, like the video... it too was caused by someone being stupid. (the sprinkler had been manually activated, not sure if they tried lifting prints from the switch or not)
