    Phrase Spaceship video clip

    Watching this I think whoever choreographed this works in an office and really hates it

    The manager has the best computer in the place, treats the employess like crap, and they all want to escape.

    And probably the best bit is the use of golf clubs and computer mice.

    You know, I'm usually not a fan of the music style, but it's rock-ish enough to sound really cool.

    Plus, it's hard to make modern songs in 6/8 time! It sounds really good.

      So, are you saying you could dance a waltz to it? (Damn, I just outed myself as a music geek, too).

      The song isn't bad but the video is great.

        Roughly 120 BPM, split into 6/8 time... Yeah, you probably could waltz to it, though those are usually reserved for 3/4 time. 6/8 is split too quickly to get any fancy footwork in. :P

        And yeah... <--music geek. I've been a drummer since I was in elementary school. I'm the only one I know that can keep a rhythm, AND read music...

            Three words:

            COLOR MY WORLD (Chicago (Terry Kath))

            (How could I have forgotten that one??) I think also "So Much To Say" is in 6/8 time.

            In fact, I think most of "Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon" is in 3/4. Parts of it does have some odd times - 5/4?

            Also - look into Tori Amos - some of her songs are in an odd time (give me a few minutes to grab some sheet music).
