ugh. all those suggestions seem almost impossible now.
especially the BE HAPPY one. With the store manager more psycho than ever her constant screaming at me doesn't make it any easier.Comment

Never be indispensible. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.
Or at least, you'll never get another job anywhere else in the same company. If you've got a large organisation where people are often job shifting and opportunities always arising - never make yourself indispensible.
Got a buddy who's struggling with that now. Got a sucky job she hates, but she's good at. Has applied for three other jobs in the same area - nada. Oh yes, she's qualified, it's just ... well ... if we moved her we'd have to replace her, and who'd want THAT job? Bad place to be.Comment
