My cat only hugs me when I take him into the bathroom and he tries to burrow into my neck.

Autumn Mohair used to do that when he wanted to snuggle. It was a habit of his since he was a wee kitten.
I didn't mind the nuzzling so much as those claws making dough though . . . and that's one of the many things I miss about him since he's been gone.
