What struck me, with this second link, is that the tats are on the opposite side of her face.....?
I also noticed the switch in sides. I wonder why ? If the pics were wrong in the first article I posted her belt buckle wouldnt have read "SEXY" the correct way...? Does that make sense. lol. someone transposed it I guess.

And yes, tattoos do stay raised for a little while after they're done. The bumpiness is also normal, it starts to kinda flake away after a little bit.

It says she paid 55(think it means euros) A tattoo the size of a silver dollar cost about 30-50 dollars. I would have cost her a lot more to get all those.
depends on the shop/artist-I got my cover(3"x3" decepticon logo) for $120-went to a shop where the artist sets the price.

He had to drink about 5-7 shots of tequila and a ton of beer to tolerate the pain of the tattoo.
yeah the drinking would INCREASE the pain

        From BMEzine
"For those of you who don't know, when your blood is thinned(from drinking) it bleeds easier. When the needles go in to put the in under the skin, if your blood is thin, the bleeding will push the ink right back out again. This makes it very difficult to get the ink to stay put."
Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

I have three pretty sizable tattoos, the two that cover the majority of tops of my feet cost $100 for both, they're black & grey, they took 4 hours to complete. My large colorful butterfly on the back of my neck (again good sized) only cost me $150.

          Pricing varies by shop.

I couldn't see myself paying for a tattoo (I don't know how it is there, but here we pay after the work is done, and even the one I couldn't see I was given mirrors to check how I liked the progress, and that was after approving the stencils and placements). I can't see someone falling asleep during a tat on their face, tho I do know a guy who will fall asleep being tattooed. And I've not seen a tat get so bumby as her, unless it was dug too deep or not taken care of..

          SOmething just seems fishy

Looking at that new photo, there are tats on her eyebrow, under her eye and nose. I dont think there is a person alive that could sleep through that. Even a ton of drinking and pain killers wouldnt stop that kind of hurt

"She was awake the whole time," he said. "I don't use hypnosis or drugs. She agreed to it. The problems started when her father and his friend saw the tattoos."

                  I call buuuuullllshit!

No way that girl fell asleep. I agree with everyone else- the problem started when she went home and her father and BF flipped out.

The tattoo artist is going to (help?) pay for the removal.

Personally, I think it looks kind of cool (especially once it heals). I don't believe she fell asleep. No chance. She just needs to own up to it and stop whining, and save the poor tattoo artist some money.

I looked at the newest picture and it raises a question for me. I've only ever seen old tattoos not new ones. Are they really that bumpy and raised on the skin?
In only have two (smaller ones) but yes they were both raised and bumpy for about 2 months before they fully healed.

Dude... Seriously. Lying wench. I feel bad for that artist. And looking at that guy, if someone said, "cover my face in tattoos", he doesn't look like the type to second guess that sort of request. He mentioned in one article that from now he's getting a written agreement from his customers, smart move. My artist requires the written consent including warnings like "this shit is permanent and can be life altering for some people!"

ETA: And I've had a lot of tattoo work done. I learned how to "zone out" so the pain is almost unnoticeable to me now. But I would definately know if someone was tattooing FIFTY SIX freaking stars as opposed to a petite THREE.

Might also be an idea to photograph the client with the blue print and have them sign that image. Keep a polaroid in the shop. Maybe just for clients under 24 still living at home with mom and dad.
