Billy Mays found dead in his home

    Does this make #4?

    I'd say so.

It also means we see much more of the Shamwow guy.

I guess Billy Mays is dead now too. The next set of three has already began

I can almost guarantee you there is going to be an explosion of "Dead Billy Mays" comedy in the next week...

I just read that on Wikipedia when I checked the recent deaths just a few moments ago.

I'd ask if there's something in the water this month that's causing this, but in the cases of both Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett, both of them had been in failing health for some time.

As for MJ, it's too soon to tell yet what in fact caused his collapse Thursday. It's still being investigated by the coroner's office.

I wonder if they'll be an autopsy done on Billy Mays though . . . his death seems rather sudden, even if he was bumped in the head the day before during an emergency plane landing.

I don't know who'll be the next celeb to pass on, but I'm thinking Patrick Swayze will be gone by the end of the year as his cancer worsens.

BM is that guy shouting on the commercials, right? I'm so annoyed at those; I always end up yelling at the TV. "If I buy it, will you stop screaming at me???" Sad for his family, but awful glad there's a chance those ads will go away.

I saw him this morning on tv. I swear he's obnoxious. Is he related to Ray Liotta by chance?

BTW, Irv, seeing as you were such a big fan of his, will you be reporting live from the funeral?

I'd have to say the first three were 'A' list, so we're probably looking at two more 'B' listers to come

What's super strange about Billy Mays is that (ABC at least) hasn't yanked his new Arm & Hammer commercials. I looked out toward the living room from the kitchen a couple of hours after the report of his death and saw his face and thought "hmmm. Tribute collage? For Billy Mays?!?" and went back to dishes. A while after some show broke to commercial and it was him pitching baking soda. Very odd.

Gale Storm died, according to Yahoo news. I've never heard of her, but I guess she was technically a star?

Anyway, that sucks about Billy Mays! I just saw him on the Tonight Show last week! So weird, and sad. This week sucks!

He was annoying, but endearing in a weird way. I actually liked the "Pitchmen" show.

I don't doubt the hit in the head having something to do with it; I've seen what people will try to stuff in the overhead bins. Some head injuries can be subtle.
