  • Superweird customer.

So, I'm in work hours. For me that means playing videogames with my cell phone in my pocket waiting for a customer to call. And call one does.

I changed the name, for their privacy... However, I am giving you an idea of the TYPE of name.

    HD: Yo
    RQ: Red Queen

RQ: Hello, this is Red Queen.
HD: *stutter a bit* R... Red Queen?
    RQ: Red Queen.
HD: Your name is Red Queen?
    RQ: No.
HD: Then what should I call you?
    RQ: Red Queen.

At this point I can see this is going nowhere... But hey, paying customer, I'll call them whatever they want.

HD: Okay, I need your credit card number, you'll be charged ten dolla...
    RQ: Cash.
    HD: Pardon?
    RQ: I'll pay in cash.

No, you most certainly will not pay in cash. You will pay in credit card. If you pay in cash there's more arguing than there's worth.

HD: I don't accept cash, because of complications from my pricing sy...
RQ: Thank you for your time.

The person was polite, courteous... So what are they doing here?

Well, out of curiousity, I googled the name.

    I found it.

    There.

    Edit: Just... Wow.

    Is... is this... real?

    I'm kinda speechless now...
You gotta polish a memory like a stone. Chip off the parts that remind you it was just a game. Work it until it's indistinguishable from any other memory.

Far as I can tell, yeah. These people are real.

Shadow Hare is, he operates fairly close to my area...

Hey, if it gets people out there doing good I'm all for it... and wondering how hard it would be to build my own personal Iron Man type armor...

Yeah. But its still a bit of a wow surprise. Once I get over the initial shock, I'm all for it. You know, as long as nobody gets killed, and only an active role is taken.

After getting over the initial jaw drop, I'm still left going "buah?". You realize my day is now shot because of my curiosity!

And reading a little bit more, what a really cool way to get people excited about public service?

                          Great find Hyena Dandy.

Hey. I've shoveled old folks' walks. Maybe I can be Polar Man's sidekick.

Of interest: none of these wonderful people have arch enemies.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea. Its like the grand tradition of a Neighborhood watch. But one person and they wear a cool costume.

Ya know, that looks like a lot of fun lol

Problem is, in my neighborhood, if you ran around in a costume like that, you'd be shot...

                              *sigh*
I pirated a copy of Linux and nobody cared
