  • Patrick Swayze has died

I remember back in the 7th grade my English teacher used to crow about how hot he was. Appearantly he has finally succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

That's very sad, but at least he's no longer in pain.

      RIP

Way to many memories of sleep overs and his movies. I swear we watched Dirty Dancing close to a thousand times.

I'll miss his movies/characters and the memories that went with.
Today was going to be just one of those days...you know, full of zombies.

He was diagnosed shortly after my friend and coworker was diagnosed with his. My friend passed away a year ago in July.
Patrick was on borrowed time and he made the best of it.

He was a great actor, and he was really hot. I still watch "Roadhouse" just for the shot of his bare butt.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

It may shock some of you to hear that IVE NEVER SEEN DIRTY DANCING!!
But he was a great actor none the less. Ghost and To Wong Foo were some of my favs.

            May he RIP

Saw a headline at the grocery store saying he was about to go or something like that, and I wasn't sure what to think, cuz, well, it was the National Enquirer. But I also knew the type of cancer he had is particularly deadly.

Oddly enough, we saw that last night at the store as well. And yes, I went "Well if they're reporting on it he must be ok". Hate to think they just got credit there.

I never cared for his movies, but Swayze himself was a class act. RIP, good man.

Only movie I ever saw him in was Ghost.

Looking at what I just typed, there's an unintentional joke in there but this isn't the time.

I just read about Swayze and it really shocked the pants off me. I didn't know he had cancer or anything. Very sad. RIP.

                          So many people lately.
I'm glad he's not suffering, though.

I didn't see any of his movies. I imagine him and Chris Farley sexy-shaking it in their Chippendales costumes for the ladies upstairs.

That's too bad. He hung in there for quite a while.

                              So sad.

I loved him in Ghost and in the incredibly-cheesy-but-still-fun Tall Tale.
