  • Hotel SC Blacklists (if only we all had this!)

A new Australian hotel industry blacklist for banning bad guests:
There are a total of five categories of behaviour which include at the lower level blatant disregard for applicable terms and conditions such as smoking in non-smoking areas, using facilities such as swimming pools tennis courts out of hours etc, all the way to non payment of tariff, assault, stealing etc. Persons in breach of the minor conditions referred to would not be reported unless they failed to heed several warnings regarding their activities.

    Wouldn't it be loverly?

Could be quite useful to expand it to certain other customer service related venues as well.

Get real. In the US someone put on that list would sue whoever did it.

It would be nice to see this, but it'll never happen.

Especially, if they're in a protected class.

A hotel in my town has a blacklist (with close to 100 people on it)! Only bad thing with theirs is this: they never tell someone they're on the blacklist until they call or show up in person. Granted that was the manager's idea... who never deals with customers...
