    One of the funniest things I've heard in a long time

    I was watching a Jeff Dunham special the other night (he's the ventriloquist).

    He was talking with Peanut about how they had a signer at one of his shows.

    Then Peanut said one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time:

    "They took a bunch of deaf people to a ventriloquist show!! What next? Blind people to a David Copperfield show?".

    I may be going to hell for this but it was funny as hell (and I guess you had to watch it).

    (Edit - found the clip - trying to find the time it's on).

    Unfortunately the joke got cut in half in all the recordings but it starts at about 9:00 (talking about being in DC):

      I have a friend who went to college with him and was buddies with him there. Needless to say she owns the DVDs.

        He is great - probably one of the best comedians out there today.

        But - i don't think his show will do well on Comedy Central.

          i'm curious to see it. i have a feeling the first episode will do well...then slowly taper down to "hey remember that show...?" status

            I'll watch it - definately but I think his comedy is best on the stage, not in front of a camera (as I sound hypocritical since I watch him on TV but you all know what I mean).

            IMO I think it will turn into a not-so-good adult version of the Muppet show.

              I have all three of his specials. I am REALLY hoping his show does well, but I'm not confidant.
