My mother bought me an Axe "kit" last year for Christmas and it has NOT made MY wife "want" me. In fact, it had the exact opposite effect. Not only could she not stand the smell of it on me, but she couldn't even breathe!
She had to take a hit of some albuterol left over when she last had bronchitis!

Yeah.. most of the Axe products have so much perfume (sorry, cologne) in it that it gives me headaches. In fact, we have a rule in this house that before hubby buys any fragranced body washes I have to smell them first to see if I can stand them.. and I hardly ever say 'yes' to Axe.
I like the nivea products. They smell 'manly' and its not overpowering. They do. I've gotten quite positive results. Axe, in mildly small quantities, can be very effective. Most women I know like it, as long as the guy doesn't drown himself in it. That's the mistake most guys make.
