It rained Sunday and most of Monday. It started raining again around 11am today. The streets here have several inches of standing water on the sides, and there is an ankle-deep stream flowing through the parking lot at work. (note: I started this post an hour ago: twenty minutes ago it stopped raining, and there's just a few puddles left. But there's another storm on its way--it's supposed to rain all week.)
I even made a video of it: you can hear CEO start yammering around the 26 second mark, remarking that we should take a picture of everyone in the office soaking wet and post it on Twitter.
Right.
Anyhow, the vid is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY2cusSGcqU
Keep my office in your prayers, that everyone makes it home safe. The freeways are going to be crazy.

I do know it was fun heading down from New River yesterday, at one point i had the wipers on high, and still could barely see anything in front of me for a good 2 or 3 minutes (doesn't sound like long, but have that suddenly hit you at 70MPH, which quickly became 60). Oh yeah, these days i'm making my living delivering newspapers, which only makes it more fun (timing's been good though, only have had to drive in it). I hear they're evacuating parts of LA because of the storms too.
