That was solely done for the money. Honestly I thought didn't hear the connection until I heard the two right after eachother. And even then it has some differences.

The flute rift is from Australia and the song is about a Aussie, wouldn't one think to hear something from Aussie Land?

The clip at the bottom of the article plays them overtop each other. It's a discordant mess. Any judge who ruled over two measures of one line in a 4 minute song when the clips are *that* nasty to listen to together is obviously tone-deaf.

The guy wants up to 60% of the royalities? Um, no. The fact is...he didn't write the song. The money isn't his and he didn't even NOTICE it until he heard it on a quiz show? If anyone should get the money, it's Sinclair's family.

All this because a couple of notes are similiar? They have a great song for twenty plus years and no issue has ever been brought forward? Ugh.

This must be devastating for Men at Work. Do I think they copied it on purpose? No way.

Two bars of a song and he wants royalties from the song? The copyright laws in Australia must be way different than here.

i found a clip of both played separately ... so yeah i can see the similarity

do i think it's worth it? no
but it's all about money these days with crap like that
