        This seems like a serious blow to the nation - not only was the president and his wife on the plane but so were several top military officers and the head of their national bank.

        They suspect that while the plane was attempting to land in heavy fog it hit some trees near the end of the runway. At least it was quick.

          Was woken earlier this morning by a text message from cnnbrk. Hopped right on the internet to see what was going on.

          Really sucks for the people of Poland. How sad that this happened on the day they were traveling to remember the deaths of so many during WWII.
