TLC Show: Mall Cops

A learning channel show following the activities of the officers of the mall of america. Very awesome. After watching this, who can call 'mall cops' unprofessional, untrained, military wannabes?

It is an interesting show.

They do have an uphill battle, trying to get respect... Too many people hear 'mall cop' and think "Paul Blart".

I don't get it either. At the malls I go to, part of the requirements for even applying is 3 years in either active security role or law enforcement. Not nearly the "rent-a-cop" that is perceived.
