    The Grandchildren take their Grandfather, the survivor, back to the German concentration camps and celebrate. Frankly, this brought tears to my eyes. Please listen and watch all the way to the very end.

    That was great!

    Grampa's shirt says "survivor"...I can't tell what the grandkids' shirts say...

    When I was in high school I took a history/sociology-type class called "Human Conscience" (formerly "Conscience of Man" until the PC Police made them change it). Mostly we studied the Holocaust (plus a little of the Civil Rights movement, including the movie Mississippi Burning, and women's issues - Kitty Genovese, watched The Accused). It's always a subject that interests me. Our textbook was actually a collection of articles and stuff in a 3-ring binder, and at the end of the year they got tossed because they were starting to fall apart; I wish I'd kept mine. We had a woman who survived the camps come talk to the class; soon enough there won't be any left... :-/

              I think it's cool that he and his family did show that you can be honoring the fallen and celebrating life of those who survived and surmounting any adversities life throws your way.
