    Let Me In

Wow. The trailer looks pretty decent and it seems to lack much of the teenaged fluff of the Twilight films.

It looks like a pretty decent way to start October.

Its a remake of a swedish film called "Let the Right one in". It looks good though. Id watch it.

That actually looks like something I'd watch (not a big horror fan).

not compared to "let the right one in"-looks like they changed a ton of stuff-I say watch the original-it was on netflix instant queue.....
Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

Darn, I was in hopes it would be a good version, I keep hearing about the original from the scand eve online corp mates
EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.

It looks like it'll be alright. I watched Let the Right One In a while back and enjoyed it. Looks like they tried to horror it up a bit more for the American remake. The original wasn't all that scary, actually very sweet.

Mom loved the original movie, I think this is one horror movie I could take her too she would enjoy.

I'm just glad to a see a movie about a kid who has been a kid for a "while" and not have it be a whiny, sparkly rich kid. It looks like there will be some genuine consequences for befriending a vampire.

Very sweet - murders, draining of blood, drinking of blood, vampires almost disintigrating, body parts....

The original avoids traditional horror movie cliches. It isn't a scary film, but it is definitely a horror film.

I doubt I will watch the remake.

I guess I'm just sick and twisted that way.

But I was mainly referring to the relationship between the boy and girl when I said that. Don't want to say too much for those that haven't seen it yet. And yeah, it wasn't a cliche horror movie, so I didn't walk away with the feeling that I'd just watched a horror movie. Though it had its moments, but it was much more subdued than most American horror films. I'm pretty sure the remake is gonna be much more like your typical American horror. I'll watch it just to see how it goes.

The original movie is one of those rare things- a perfect film. I don't know why they insist on remaking such a perfect film. Just watch the dub if you don't want to read subtitles (actually there may not be a dub, I don't know).

So yeah, no way am I seeing this.

For the same reason they feel the need to make forty sequels to Saw and remake all of the Halloween and Nightmare on Elmstreet films.
