Spanking law presented to California congress
Basically, it says that California legislature is trying to pass a bill that'll make it illegal to spank children under the age of three. Anyone found to be violating it could face a year in prison, and a fine of $1000.
Apparently, therapists in California have decided that spanking children sends the message that "If I'm bigger, violence against smaller people is okay."
