  • My new keyboard

After almost a year of having a crappy keyboard, I finally went out and bought one.
So I traded one crappy keyboard for.. another crappy keyboard!

Yup.. It has some bells and whistles, media keys and all that. But the keys seem to be smaller. I find it very hard to type on this one, without making mistakes. The delete key is moved, the backspace key is half normal size. The programmable buttons don't work with FireFox.

What do I expect for $20?

I have one of their joysticks.. it's awesomely awesome. I can't find their keyboards around here. I'll probably have to drive to Orlando to get some cool stuff

        I'm waiting for this - http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/

LCD screens in every key so that you can make it read what you want it to read.

Yup. probably about the only keyboard I'd trade my ZBoard for.

I think EVERYONE is waiting for that keyboard! I saw that beauty a while ago, and wanted it from the first time my little beady eyes saw it.

But, if it's costs as much as a mortgage payment, I'll sadly have to pass.

Am I the only weirdo out there that likes the ergonomic keyboards that are still semi-around? I actually type faster and more accurately on them than on the "regular" keyboards.

Everything old is new again. When I took typing in high school a long time ago, my mother told me how she had to learn on a typewriter with blank keys.

The keyboard sounds interesting because, "totally Responsive, tactile feedback with new gold-plated and clicky high-end mechanical key switches." I wonder if they're like the old "clicky" IBM keyboards... those things were great. Pricey, but worth every penny. Alas, IBM sold a lot of its technology some years ago (before getting out of the PC business completely), and the company that bought the keyboard tech promptly went bankrupt.
