I started re-listening to a bunch of my audiobooks and decided to do the "Inheritance Cycle" again. Then, on a whim, I visited tvtropes just to see what they had on the story.


And... Angela knows the Doctor? what?

Apparently in book 3 (Brisingr) she writes something on the ground about "the lonely god". Which the author has confirmed was a direct reference to Doctor Who.

oh my mistake. it was Arya who wrote the phrase not Angela.

it's in the chapter where she and Eragon (have to run through the empire in hiding)
