A woman gave a home to a rescue dog, only to return it less than a week later because "he didn't match her curtains"

    What an EFFING bitch!

This woman must have been related to Paris Hilton. I hope her curtains catch on fire! Just a sick, selfish, heartless wench!

I've run into that too Patiokitty, I shouldn't be as jaded as I am at 25. It's horrible, but this is why more rescue groups and breeders are making it harder to adopt and buy dogs. If you wonder why you have to jump though hoops, give references, sign contracts to bring home a pet, it's because of people like this and thank the breeder/shelter for trying to prevent an animal from going home to the wrong type of person. I have a feeling her eagerness and love she showed at the start with her time with the poor dog might have fooled them, sadly you can't catch them all, I'm glad he made it back to the shelter.

I hope they refuse these kinds of people the opportunity to adopt another dog. If someone gave me that excuse and then picked out another color I'd tell them no.

Well, look at it this way: She actually did the dog a huge favor. He won't be living with her.

Agreed. No creature deserves a bitch like that for an owner. I sincerely hope she never gets another animal.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.
