What in the name of all things holy and sacred do the WBC have against Elizabeth taylor? Am I missing something here? did they expect her to live to 100?

ETA: Nevermind, I just read the link. So now apparaently if you have gay friends and bother to help prevent AIDS your funeral gets picketed. Joy. (I'd love to hear their theory regarding heterosexual people who have AIDS....)

No, you wouldn't. They're the kind that believe it's divine punishment and you deserve it, simply because their religion is hate and they love hating anybody who doesn't drink their poisoned little koolaid like they do.

And since the Supreme Court recently ruled in their favor, they're going to be even twice as batshit crazy now about their attention-whoring. Liz Taylor's AIDS advocacy is just icing on the cake of their reasons to harass her funeral.

As someone eloquently pointed out in Fratching, it also means that people can counter-protest and the WBC can't do a damn thing about it. So their protests won't be heard at all, because people will be counter-protesting.
