Spring is finally upon us. The ice is mostly melted on the Lakes which means that the ships are finally on the Great Lakes again. This also means that I went boatwatching last weekend....

somewhere there is a reason why a ship is called she. It is probably not very politically correct though.

I thought they were quite nice. Living where I do, I never get to see ships. The few times I've ever been near a body of water big enough for them, they always amaze me. I can definitely see the appeal of photographing them.
