  • Father wants Jackass banned

    http://news.scotsman.com/scotland.cfm?id=174512007

Basically, he allowed his 11 year old son to watch an 18 rated film that has disclaimers saying "Do not try this at home". Then when the kid copies a stunt and has to be rushed to hospital, he doesn't wring his hands crying "Why wasn't I there for my child? Why didn't I discipline him?" he demands that Jackass be banned.
    Yeah.
That's REALLY gonna help. Feel kind of sorry for the kid though, burns HURT.

No, see......you gotta understand.....the media is at fault for EVERYTHING. The only reason we like the press around is cause we can blame stuff on them. Good scapegoat....

I did scope out some of the stunts to try from jackass, but like I said, I have health insurance, and I wouldn't try it if I thought it were deadly.....like....snake in the ball pit? NO. No, well, maybe, I just don't want to pay that much to hire a snake, lmao.

The point is, we have ratings systems for a reason. I hope he gets a nice big gold dildo in the butt (a la Bam Margera).

I say we ban that "jackass"!

Hey, me and my friend Samantha were throwing ourselves down flights of stairs in sleeping bags WAY before Jackass was on TV.

And no one taught me how to stick the other girls in anthills, I figured that one out for myself.

as of october 1 2006 it is illegal for a video store to allow anyone under the age of 18 to rent an 18A movie here in Ontario anyway. our video store really follows these rules and it pisses off kids but i just dont care.
as for this kids parenst, lets not get me started on how i feel about the crap some people let there kids watch. the other day i had a girl..ok a mom but i swear she isnt far over 18 and has a 2-3 yrs old..anyway she is in the store and very proud to tell me all the horror movies she watches with her daughter..i mean come on.
you need a license to own a dog or drive a car but any idiot can have a kid.

The father needs a clue, not call for a ban.

Apparently someone didn't learn that fire=burn. I'm sure he's got the point now.

And again, the first thought in my head is "death of personal responsibility." It's obviously not the parents' fault for not supervising the child, letting the kid and friends watch the film, letting them have access to things that make fire when they're 11, and so on. Obviously, even though Jackass did their part, added a "Do Not Try This At Home" warning and rated that film 18 and over, they are to blame for this kid being an idiot.

                It hurts my brain.
