    That was a great letter! I can totally understand the frustration and stress that writer is going through. Sadly, you know someone is going to miss the sarcasm and take it to mean the opposite.

        Wow! I love this comic and I love the letter as well. People really need to learn about store closing sales.

            I like these open letters, but they are wasted on The Consumerist. I hate that site.

            The people who run it are a pair of smug Brooklyn hipsters who don't seem to have ever held a real job, or have a clue about how business works. Also they have been busted more than once stealing content and pictures from elsewhere without giving proper credit.

            And most of the commentors there are just really nasty EWs, who spew out all the pet phrases we know so well: "They should be grateful they still have a job!" etc.
