While I rarely watch the Simpsons anymore because I dont think they're as funny as they use to be, I did watch this one on demand where Ned Flanders and Edna Kadarpa (However you say Bart Simpsons last name) hooked up, but ended in a Cliff hanger where Ned /forgave/ Edna for sleeping with just about every man in town. She got angry, and said she has no qualms about her past (Except for sleeping with Comic Book Guy who still wears her bra). Ned stated that they'll have to leave it up to a higher power.
Meaning fans get to vote if they stick together or not, and we'll see it in the season opener after the Summer, much like the who shot mr. burns campaign.
So, vote at the Simpsons website.
I personally voted yes, as I could see many episodes bringing much new life in the series, such as Ned's kids becoming corrupted by her freedom, or Bart attempting to play hookie only to realize that the teacher is too and gets caught, maybe even have an episode where Ned Flanders has to fight off a pissed off Principal Skinner.
