    "To Catch a Predator"

    Anyone watch this??? Next week they're gonna air the tenth sting they've done to catch online predators. It honestly never ocurred to me that there were THAT many men out there trying to pick up little 13 year olds for sex! My daughter's nine years old and I think I'm gonna have to adjust the privacy settings on her Yahoo! IM.

    Dont know if anyone in Canada or the UK or Australia can see this in their area but in case they cant here's a link to the series and can watch each sting episode online....

        I've seen several of those shows. It amazes the hell out of me that people still fall for them. However, it is great to see their reputation destroyed as they get arrested on national TV. Serves the bastards right.

            If you want to be EXTREMELY disturbed, EXTREMELY nauseated and EXTREMELY pissed off visit Perverted-Justice.com. They bust child sexual predators over the internet and they post the chat transcripts from their busts.
            They also post pictures of the predators and news clips from arrests, etc. They have good information on keeping kids safe as well.

            Truly not a site for the squeemish.

              Oh my God they're airing this show every Tuesday through at least March 6!!!!

              No wonder Hulk Hogan threatened to beat on any man that got within ten feet of his daughter before she turned 18!

                I watch this show a lot. I'm actually young-looking enough to pass for 16 or so and I've worked a cigarette sting or two, but never anything to this level.

                What's really bad is, upon watching the show, many of the guys admit THEY'VE SEEN THE SHOW TOO. So it's not like they're uninformed!

                I wouldn't know, so tell me, is sex, let alone with underage girls, really THAT great??

                  Oh, I've watched this show and I'm always going since most I think should have known better. I mean some of them seem to be smart enough to realize how stupid it was to do in the first place and but I'm glad they are arresting them. Oh, what's up those guys who saw the show and yet still thought it was okay to have sex with an underage girl. I just don't get some people.

                    The "To Catch A Predator" shows are the only time I watch Dateline NBC. In fact it's almost becoming appointment TV to me.

                    It's so funny to watch the perverts try to squirm their way out of it. "But I wasn't going to have sex with her!"

                    Right...then why did you bring beer and condoms with you?

                    On a side note--I could never do Chris Hanson's job on those shows. It has to take a real professional to confront the perverts in the manner he does. I'd probably bust out laughing when reading back the chat transcripts.

                      one theory is that men like underage sex because "things" look "bigger" in comparision to the kid. *ahem ahem*
                      Personally, I'm all for castration of people who are pedophiles. Can you castrate a female??

                        I think there are chemicals to reduce a sex drive, but really all you could do physically would be to remove ovaries etc.

                          I dunno Raps, if you remove the clitoris, there's a big arousal factor gone...unless you go for the whole "aversion" therapy. Like you show them a picture of a kid, and if they get excited, whack em innafork with a shovel...(and yes, that would hurt for chicks too)
