    Great pics!

(And I suspect that all that effort for the party means....

    The Cake Is A Lie!)

I love your photo collections and commentary. Thanks for posting.

      1. Love the street festival photos. Very colorful and fun.

      2. Thank you in particular for posting the photo of the drummer with the dreds. Probably my favorite pic, if you understand me.

      3. Look at that kudzu eat that crosswalk!

      4. I don't understand the cake, but it still made me laugh.

        I would have to agree

I do in fact understand you about the drummer with the dreads. You can probably imagine my delight when my boyfriend decided to get hair extensions way back in February, if you understand me...

Perhaps a visit to Cake Wrecks will help explain the pretty princess crown cake. One of the cakes submitted to that site was a chocolate heart-shaped confection with exactly the sentiment written on my cake written on it. I had merely asked for a cake with something hateful written on it, and showed several examples to my friends. Cake Wrecks also has a picture of a cheerful cake bedecked with flowers and ladybugs which reads "Go Die in a Car Fire." I was kind of hoping for that one, or perhaps one that read, "Your Mother is a Whore," but I was perfectly content with what I got.
