  • There's more of a story here...

    http://www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk/...in_pay_row.php

Now, someone in this situation is being sucky, but as to who it is, I'll let the rest of you decide for yourself. The clues say to me that it would be the ex-boss, but that's just the conclusion I draw.
"Maybe the problem just went away...maybe it was the magical sniper fairy that comes and gives silenced hollow point rounds to people who don't eat their vegetables."

Somebody is definately pissed at somebody else. It must have taken hours to count all those coins and did they actually total 1300 pounds?

What code is used to get the British pound sign?
Figers are vicious I tell ya. They crawl up your leg and steal your belly button lint.

    I'm a case study.

I think that likely both sides have been stubborn in the ongoing battle, but it is hard to tell without all of the history and the other side of the story.

BTW: You get £ on an american keyboard by pressing alt+0163
The only words you said that I understood were "His", "Phone" and "Ya'll". The other 2 paragraphs worth was about as intelligible as a drunken Teletubby barkin' come on's at a Hooter's waitress.

What a peculiar story. There's obviously an awful lot of history to this one - my gut feel says that it started with a dispute about the driver keeping the hat with the tips in it, even when said hat was full of nothing but coins, and escalated from there.

The boss was definitely sucky to do that, though, and it would serve him right if it hurt his business as a result. If i lived in the area I would avoid Lee's Coaches, since they are clearly owned by someone rather vindictive.

My favourite part about the article was the break down of how many coins a business can legally be expected to accept. That's so cool. How many times have SCs dumped a pile of coins on your counter and expected you to count it all out?
I wonder if they have laws of that sort here in Canada...I'm off to use my google-fu.

If you have to ask, it's probably better posted at www.fratching.com
