Are any of the stores mentioned still in business? I noticed Kohls, which went out of business maybe 10 years ago.
I found this Wendys video linked along the side. There must've been something freaky in Dave Thomas's pipe when he approved that one.

Yeah we have Kohl's out here in OK. In fact I seem to recall being forced into shopping with my mom once. I never want to be in that store for 6 hours again.

No. There also used to be a grocery store chain called Kohls in Cheeselandialand. They had some fairly funky-looking buildings.Quoth Lvl_9_Gazebo View PostKohl's, as in Kohl's Department Store? They're still around and doing well as far as I know. I love shopping at the one here.Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Study hard. Be evil.

I used to have a Kohl's by my area.....until I moved. I love me some Kohl's!
The Wendy's Burger Rap was cheesy but fun to watch! As for the grocery store training video...I couldn't help but think that the gray stripe on the guy's head looked so fake and the acting (as usual with most training videos) was crap and fun to mock.

I used to think A & P was some term for a grocery store I didn't know. I just found out recently--from a coworker, I think--that it's actually the name of the store. And my company has those videos, too. Even our HR lady derides them. But she has to make new hires watch them."Is it hot in here to you? It's very warm, isn't it?"--Nero, probably

Check out Groceteria for more information on A&P and other national and regional chains. Fascinating site IMO.
